Yay... All glory to God Almighty, I got my Visa approved. I'm so sorry for written this late.
It was all a good and simple interview. Well my visa interview was January 15th 2016 and my interview time was 7:00am but I got to the Embassy at about 5:40am and there wasn't any queue yet but few minutes later we were asked to queue and on one side is immigrant and on the other side is for non-immigrant. We were asked to bring out our int'l passport, letter of invitation, DS260 confirmation page and then the medical result and it should be opened, after which all of this was checked by the security officer and we were asked to go inside were we meet with some security officers and all of my documents were checked and I was screened and I was told to go straight after which I met with another officers that asked for my letter of invitation which I handed to them and my name was cross-cheked in a paper and when they got my name I was given a white paper to filling in my details and a small card. And then I was ushered to another security check point were I was asked to take off my wrist watch, shoes etc and I was screened by a mechanic and after which I was asked by another security officer to press B and a paper with number on it was issued out and that was the number that gave me a gate pass into the main interview hall. When I got in I saw some few people sitted and a female security officer asked me to sit. And then some minutes later my number showed up in window 12 and I was asked by the black lady to bring my int'l passport, 2 passport photograph, my Original Marriage Certificate, my Police Report, my Original birthday Certificate, photocopy of my int'l passport data page and then the black lady gave me a white paper and she said its for you and that I must read it because it contains my right in America and its a must for me to read and that was all at that stage and I was asked to sit down and wait for my interview properly. And after waiting for more than 2
hours my number finally showed up in window 4 and a white man asked me to raise my right hand and ask me to take an Oath that I will say the truth only and after I took the Oath he ask me to do the finger print. After that the CO asked me the following 4 questions.
CO- where did you meet your husband?
Me- I answered.
CO- what do you like most about your husband and what attracted him to you.
Me- I answered.
CO- how old his your husband and how old are you?
Me- I answered.
CO- can I see your wedding pictures?
Me- I showed him our wedding pictures and he saw a woman and he asked who she is and I told him that's my Mom and he said ok.
And he said your visa has been approved and then he handed to me 2 white papers, one of it was an address circled by him and he said pick up your visa in this address in 2 weeks time and then the other paper was for my green card payment guide line and he told me to tell my husband to pay for my green card fee of $165 online before I arrive America. And I said thank you. It was just God because it was a very easy and simple interview and it was less than 5mins. I'm so grateful to God Almighty for this great success and I also say a big thank you to all my VJ family for all your support and encouragement and may God bless you all.
One quick advice, please be prayerful and be bold and have confidence in yourself. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
