Consulate Review: El Salvador
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 7, 2015
Embassy Review : Interview was pretty fast. We had prepared for the interview with lots of proofs for the relationship (Wedding Hall and chapel booked, photographer and dress receipts, samples of the invitation cards, pics, letters, emails, chats, conversation records, etc. I only had to show wedding plans proof because that's pretty much what he asked.
Was asked how I met her, if our interactions are in english (Interview was in english), and if we had plans for the wedding. The vice consul then informed that the visa was approved.javascript:emoticon('')

I received a sheet that states that I shall receive an email once the passport and visa packet are ready for pick up at the Cargo Expreso agency we picked (courier). It is supposed to be ready in less than a week, but we will see. I will keep you guys posted on this!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
