Did not receive any communication regarding my approval nor did I have to do an interview. I got in touch with USCIS via their outside of normal processing times form after a year of waiting for any information. A few days later I just happened to check the USCIS app and I saw that the status had changed to card was mailed to me it arrived a few days later. |

Like everyone has said it was SO much easier than I imagined and the crazy nerves beforehand were definitely not necessary. Everyone was super friendly there which I wasn't expecting.
Approved in less than 5 minutes after being asked
1. Where my fiance lived
2. If I've ever been to America and him to England
3. How I liked the state where he lives
4. What we do for work
5. Wedding plans
It was so quick I didn't even realise the interview part had started yet when she told me I was approved. I thought she was just making small talk before the scary 100 question interrogation I would surely be getting... but that never came. After she questioned me in her chatty way she just said "Well Nicole you've been approved and your visa will be there in around 12 days, congratulations now go call Ryan"

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
