Check was cashed this morning (02/18/15) and I got text and email notifications starting at 4:15 CT.
Mail Notifications came 02/23/15
Biometrics appointment form came in the mail 02/28/15
Biometrics appt lasted approximately 10 min. Knowing the New Orleans traffic, my husband and I got there 20 minutes before the appointment. They saw me right away. The ladies weren't friendly but they weren't mean either.

Embassy Review : |
We had our appointment on Monday, April 27 at 8am. We got there at 7:30, handed in our appointment sheet and were instructed to take a seat. At around 8:15 we were called by the IO.
She asked basic questions about the information we put on the application forms. She then asked how we met, and how did the relationship progress. My husband was going onto details but I stopped him to keep it short. She then asked if we had any document evidence to add to our file, to which we replied with a stack of papers: most recent bank statement, car bill, phone bill & credit card. Since I lived in a different state wile we were engaged, we handed her a bunch of copies of plane tickets.
She took a quick look at photo book I gave my husband for valentine's day a couple of years ago. I also brought a few pictures of our life together after being married. She kept those and gave us the little book back. She asked us if we lived together and we said yes. She asked if we lived with someone else and we both answered "no except our puppy dog". She smiled and that was it. She approved us right there and said we should keep an eye on the mail cause the green card comes by regular mail. She asked if we had any questions and we said no, she still went on to explain that we need to remove conditions in two years etc. etc. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
