Comments : Immigration was very busy, it was a Friday afternoon and multiple international flights arrived the same time as us. Luis was able to go through the citizen line with me and then he was called into the room for a short interview. I went and got our bags while he was waiting. The actual interview was only about 10 minutes long, but he spent 1 hour waiting in line for it.

Consulate Review: Bogota, Colombia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 13, 2016
Embassy Review : BEWARE OF DR. DENNIS!

Dear fellow K1 filers from Colombia, just a warning to you, avoid Dr. Rodolfo Dennis in Bogota, Colombia. My husband (then fiance) saw him to complete his medical exam for the K1 visa back in September 2015. Dr. Dennis REFUSED to complete the DS3025. He told us it was not required for the K1. Technically this is true, HOWEVER it is REQUIRED for Adjustment of Status. He told us he would not complete it and he even showed us he was putting a BLANK DS3025 in the sealed packet. I begged him to please complete it and he said no. Needless to say, we got a RFE this past week, for vaccinations. I knew this was going to happen.
I see a lot people posting on VJ to avoid the other doctors in Colombia because they make you get all the vaccines again. THIS IS A GOOD THING! It means they are going to complete the DS3025 for you.
Again, DO NOT SEE DR. DENNIS!
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
