Event Description

Embassy Review : It was a very cold morning and fog was covering every thing. Reached at shuttle gate at 6:15 am there was a long Que of people waiting to get tickets. The person came at 7:00 am and started giving the tickets. Got ticket by showing my passport he entered the number into the system (ticket cost is 200 rs.) and get on the shuttle. It is a log ride on the shuttle till you reach the embassy entrance. At the entering point they scan every thing and then let you into the waiting room. There they make you stand in the relevant line in my case it was immigration visa line. The gentleman was a friendly native he took the first page of my interview letter and gave me a token number and asked me to sit and wait for the number to be called. After long wait my number was called to a window where i gave my finger prints. After good 20 minutes my number was called again and went to the window there he asked me for my original birth certificate and original Nikkah nama. Then he asked me for my cell number and put it down on the bottom of my file and again asked me to wait. This time my number was called soon to interview window. The Co was a friendly american guy. He greeted me with a smile i place the bundle of papers and wedding pics on the window and he was surprised to see all those papers lol as no one else was carrying such huge piles. Anyways the interview started and he asked
1. Who is calling you?
2. How did you meet her?
3. What does she do in states?
4. What is her course of study?
5. Do you have your wedding pics with you?

He looked at the pics twice and told me he is approving my visa and ill get my passport in two weeks. I am grateful to Allah Subhan-Wa-Tallah for his blessings. Every thing went well.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
