The reply said that "The NVC has processed the visa petition and forwarded it to the US Embassy on August 31, 2006." No notification at all so I had to guess on NVC received date. 10-11-2006 Went to Fiancee and son went to medical exam, and I went to Embassy in Bucharest to drop off packet 3 checklist so that I could get an appointment as soon as possible. They would not let me drop off the checklist in person, so I called the Embassy (while standing outside of it :), and they said that I did not need to drop off the paper, that I can make an appoint over the phone "right now". We of course took the earliest available date (exactly one week to the day). 10-18-06 Visa interview -visa granted:) 11-7-06 Welcome to America Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 120 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 189 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.
