Yo did not have the original of our marriage certificate when she went for the interview, The interviewer told her to mail that in along with her passport. They didn't tell her that meant she was approved (pending receipt of the original doc.).
The interviewer asked for emails or phone records for proof or relationship, which we didn't have. We had provided pics, affidavits, and records of joint bank account. I was surprised at that since we had already been married 3 1/2 yrs., but maybe they wanted proof that we were still in regular contact after I returned to the U.S. for work. |

The interview letter is dated 12/4/18, but I only found out about it when I logged onto the USCIS website on Dec. 7th. A week later we still haven't received notification of the appointment by email or postal mail. |
