I am writing for my fiance who has just finished his interview. He said the process went fairly well! He arrived at 5am for his 7:30 appointment. The filipina consul only asked for his birth certificate, NBI clearance, passport and cenomar. She didn't ask him any other questions.
With the female american consul she asked his full name, my full name, my address here in the US, if we have any kids together (we are expecting), so then she asked my due date, how we met, when the last time we saw each other was, if he had any pictures with him, and what our course was since we graduated together recently. She did not even ask for our affidavit of support I guess knowing we are just fresh graduates? My fiance informed me that they were very polite to him and felt relaxed even being interviewed by the female american consul. After that he was done! He just clarified that he will pick up his visa at MOA and went home. He was home by 11am to call me. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
