The officers were delaying in giving the passport back. They then asked about his reason for his coming to US and about our relationship. An ethnic Southeastern Asian officer came to interview my fiance and asked about his plans in the US and about out marriage plans and about our religious differences. After searching through his baggage and looking at all 190+ photos we had taken during our Dubai trip, they took him to the exit door and told him he could find me outside.
His plane landed at 9 am and he was in my arms by 11 am. He was waiting for about 30 minutes after he gave his passport for inspection and he was questioned for about another 30 minutes. |

Embassy Review : |
My fiance had his medical exam on June 29, 2015. He got all his vaccinations, but they did not require him to pay the full $500 fee. The medical results were not received or processed by the embassy; although the other petitioners were not getting their visas that day either because it seemed that other's medical results were not in yet either. The embassy kept the other applicant's passports, but not my fiance's; but were all put in AP.
He arrived at the embassy at 6:30 am for his 7:30 am interview and was in line for about an hour. He left his documents and they seemed to spend time reviewing them, but did not look at our pictures we had together. They kept the folder for financial support and his translated tazkira. In addition to other supporting documentation, I had sent a copy of my tax return and transcripts from the IRS directly.
They didn't ask too many questions, but they seemed to focus on how we met. He is Pashtun and I am European descent. Overall, he was treated with respect and they accepted and reviewed our documentation. |

Timeline Comments: 1Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process. I am still waiting and would be grateful if you respond to a few questions.
- Did your interview said that your spouse should be with you?
- What questions were asked from you and your spouse during i-751 interview?
Thanks and good luck
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
