Embassy Review : |
I arrived at the consulate at 10.50 for an 11.15am interview and the nice police officer let me go through as there was a line in security anyway.
Went through security, got upstairs and went to the first line where a lady had a look through my paperwork and told me that my name would be called and i would not need to take a number.
In less than 10mins my name was called, I went to the window and was asked to take the oath and my prints were taken.
Then gentlemen behind the counter then asked how i met my fiancé. I was very nervous so i rambled on about how we met and then he just looked through my documents and asked me what our marriage plans were.
He that said "we are going to issue your visa today and you will receive it in 1-2 weeks"
Done! I was out in 30 mins or less and could barely believe I was approved as it all happened so quickly!
Very happy and excited
Ps. These reviews helped me a lot so I'm excited to finally get to do mine!

Timeline Comments: 1How did you go with your AFP Police Check? I understand you had both 35 and 33 forms. One without fingerprints and 1 without.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
