If anyone reading this, please be prepared to the possibility that you might have a rude agent interviewing you.
My interview honestly left me in tears because the agent was really condescending and extremely abrupt. Anyway, it is over now, I am a citizen . |

Embassy Review : |
I thought if writing my K1 visa interview details for everyone to benefit from and to ease some of the stress on the rest of k1 visa seekers.
I advise first that u have to request the interview in advance cause they wont schedule you right away, well at least for consulate in Kuwait, my interview was after one month.
I have reached early to the interview (always better), and when it was finally my turn, i was extremely nervous but the first consular welcomed me in a very nice way and started checking the documents (the embassy already emailed a set pf stuff to prepare, the officer said they didn't need all that, specially the other copy of the first k1 file, and the fees were more than the one mentioned in packet 3, but who cares i wanted to get done with it), and asking questions while doing so: like when is the marriage, will ur family attend , where did u first meet and when. Then I was asked to wait, and another officer called my name for the 2nd interview, he definitely asked more questions about my fiance, like what does he do for a living, then when ill be getting married, mainly all easy questions, however i think everyone should be prepares for this one: why u didn't get marry in the states when u visited?
I replied cause that's not legal not to mention even if we get married in any other part in the world that would mean that ill have to be separated from my husband and we both do not want that.
After that he said nothing wrong with ur file, ur visa is approved, we will call you within one week and we will cancel ur B1B2 visa. however I collected my passport after 2 days.
So that's it hope my post can help you guys and good luck for the rest of your journey |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
