Had to wait for a bit ~ 40 minutes because there was only a single person doing all the work but later two more officials started doing their job. |

Embassy Review : |
Appointment: 09:15 am
Reached: 09:00 am
Entered: 09:20 am
Took photographs from embassy photo booth. It takes only 35 seconds.
Part 1: Document Check (@09:35 am)
The Asian guy was really nice and asked me for Birth Certificate, Police Certificate and photocopies of Birth Certificate. Then he asked for Affidavit of Support. Then briefly asked me to explain how did we first meet and how many times have we met in person. After that he asked me to take seat and an American CO will call me.
Part 2: CO (@09:45 am)
The CO took my finger prints and asked me that how did you first meet and then said your case looks good and I will approve the visa. But I had to leave Singapore for 2 weeks so took back the passport and now my visa will be issued once I am back to Singapore.
I was out of the embassy by 10:05 am.
All officers working in the Embassy are really experienced and know what they are doing. If you are genuine, they don't more than 5 minutes to decide. Best of luck to all of you. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
