Embassy Review : |
Just had my interview now. I Got to the embassy at 6am. At. About 6:30, the security check started, I went through all the security check points, all the way to inside the consulate. I didnt enter into the visa room till about few minutes to 8am after all the checks. Fast forward till when my number was Flashed on the screen of the CO. Very pleasant lady.
CO: good morning, how are you?
Me: answered
The C0 then initiated the finger prints and swearing in.
CO: who petitioned for you
Me: answered
CO: and how did you meet him
Me: answered
CO. When did you people decide to get romantically involved
Me: answered
CO: how many times has he been to Nigeria
Me: answered
CO: have you people had any form of traditional ceremony
Me: answered
Co: when was the last time he was in nigeria
Me: answered
CO: how did he propose?
Me: answered
Congratulations, here is your original documents ( my National Population Census attestation of birth). Pick up your passport at this address (handed me a paper with the address circled on it) in a week.
Me: thank you ma, have a good day
CO: you too.
I am so grateful to God, its only by his grace. I heard denials after denials before it got to my turn, but God gave me courage to walk up to the CO, courageously and claim by benefits. I give all honour and adoration to God. I actually suspect that most of those CO's minds are probably made up before you get there. Cause I was done under 5 minutes and not for once did they ask me for additional evidence, I didnt even open my accordion folder at the CO's window, the picture book I spent money to make, She didnt even ask to see and I had over 100 pictures in the photobook, I however saw the pictures we had sent alongside with the petition to USCIS in the file in front of her (the CO), but at no point in time did she even ask me questions about the pictures she had right in front of her or about any other evidence we had sent with the I129f petition and I could see the file with the 129f right in front of her. God is really really faithful and to him I give all the glory. Thank u all my VJ friends. Please feel free to ask any questions |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
