Embassy Review : |
Interview at 9am. We picked up our medical same day at 8am. We arrived at 9:30 due to traffic in kingston. We had to park across the street and walk to the embassy. It was hot ! There were two lines.
They asked for the appointment letter , passport , id and proof of passport pictures. I went with my fiance. Thank God i brought my Id with me. We went through security.
Next we met with a police they asked for our appt letter, she crossed off our name. We went into a building. We gave them the appt letter , they stapled number A137 to our form and asked to go sit in section a.
45 minutes later they called a137. Omar took his finger prints. They asked for non impediment form , birth certificate, police certificate, 2 pictures, passport, i134 form. She asked if he ever been to usa , ever commited a crime and if everything was true on the form. Gave him a form about abuse to
We sat down 10 minutes later they called omar, i went with him.
She asked him my name. Where & how we met? Where we are getting married? When are we getting married? How many times i came to visit? Is this the first time traveling to usa? Is this both your first marriage? She said our visa / passport should be ready in a few weeks via dhl and that was it. So i guess its approved! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
