Congratulations on finally receiving your green card. I am still waiting.
Would you kindly let me know what documents were requested and what questions were asked during interview?
Thanks

Thank you, and sorry to hear that you're still waiting. It's maddening when something that should be so easy and straightforward takes so long. USCIS will never tell you exactly what information they want to see; it's always the same, vague requests for information about children, finances, living arrangements, and so forth. That's what we'd sent originally, and added some updated documents (a more recent tax return, bank statement, etc.) with the RFE. The only specific point raised in our RFE was about the different spellings of my wife's name, and to answer that I pointed to the official transliteration policy of her country. That must have been enough.
For the interview, there were almost no questions, mostly just verification of the information already in the case file. The IO asked what we did on weekends, holidays, etc., asked about our cat (maybe because we don't have children?), asked about the relationships of the affidavit writers, and if we had a language in common (he seemed to like our "half-and-half" answer). Pretty much just the things we'd already supplied; didn't ask anything about taxes, finances, home ownership, and didn't look at anything in the stack of supporting documents we'd brought. The whole interview probably lasted 20 minutes. He said he didn't see any problems, and we got the approval confirmation email later that same day.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
