Things moved very fast for the K1. We actually slowed it down so that she would have time to finish college. We started at the end of September and could likely have had her here before Christmas if we wanted. |

The worst part was waiting in line to get to the counter. Once there the first officer was not able to handle our packet so we moved over one line to someone who had been trained. Friendly and professional officer had us on our way in no time and apologized for the wait. |

8/16/2018 - still waiting. looks like they are processing March 2018. At this rate it will be another year or 2. Getting ready for the 551 stamp! After another extension (total of 18 months) we received a letter 1/3/2019 that the requested was transferred from CA to VT. Shortly thereafter, approval was received! |

Most positive. Things moved along well and only one person gave us a little trouble telling us we did not bring all the paperwork required (we did and more!) I suspect we were victims of intimidation, however that doesn't work on me and we stood our ground, eventually getting through the process and out of the office. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
