Comments : Things learned: Emailing the NVC is useless, response time for emails were over a month. Call the NVC to get your case number. Don't waste time waiting for Packet 3 you only need it for medical and interview. Fill out your DS-160, go to UStraveldocs pay for your visa fee and schedule your interview. Interview appts were over 2 months out so it gives you plenty of time to do everything. Oh by the way folks there is no packet 4.

The Officer said your Oath Ceremony was scheduled today.

Embassy Review :
My fiancees interview was July 8, 2015. I attended the interview but was asked to be seated. She was interviewed by a American male CO, her interview was conducted in English, here are the questions asked:

1- What is your fiancees name?
2- What is your fiancess birthday?
3- On what dating website did you meet your fiancee?
4- Did you of your fiancee pay for the website?
5- How do you and your fiancee communicate?
6- What date did your fiancee contact you on the dating website?
7- How long after you started communicating did your fiancee call you?
8- How many times has your fiancee visited you in Vietnam?
9- What did you do with your fiancee when he came to Vietnam?
10- Where does your fiancee work?
11- What does your fiancee do at work?
12- Where do you work?
13- Has your fiancee been married before?
14- Have you been married before?
15- When was your divorce?
16- Does your fiancee live alone?
17- What is your fiancees address?
18- Have you ever been to the United States?
19- Have you ever applied for a visa before?
20- Have you ever stayed in another country more than 6 months?
21- When did your fiancee arrive this trip?
22- When will he leave?
23- How long does your fiancee usually stay on his trips?

The interview was about 5mins long. We had multiple red flags to overcome. Due diligence in the forum help me to put my petition together ......read,read,read everything you need is in the forum threads. My original petition was 1000 pages and 250 pics. I had a 3 page typed letter of how we met and our ongoing relationship. A detailed timeline of our relationship that included our viber texts to refer too. So frontloading was very key for us. So if you think you sending too much then you probably didn't.

The CO did not ask for any evidence from my fiancee. I hope this helps everyone. I spent many hours reading the forums. My fiance practiced over 100 questions we got from the forums. Preparation is key folks, fialure is not an option!!! GLTA
Rating : Very Good

Thanks for the information in your timeline! We are getting close to scheduling her K-1 interview at the same embassy. Once approved, she will also arrive in Houston where we will live and proceed with the remaining process.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
