Finally got it returned on 10th March 2006.

Edit 31st March 2006: Shocked, but very happy to get the EAD approval notice via email tonight at around 7pm. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your EAD was approved in 105 days.

Perhaps by RFE? 3 Hours on phoneline to find out about what happened to it. Gave me a case number and said they were looking into it. March 20th 2006, need AP by this time next month at the latest, so have an appointment at the local office to check the status of the application and see if we can get an emergency one issued. Emergency AP approved Friday 24th March 2006, collected from local office Tuesday March 28th. 31st March 2006: Regular AP received in mail without any approval notice or online case status update. Strange? Processing Estimates/Stats : Your AP was approved in 98 days.
