Consulate Review: Egypt Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : July 27, 2015 Embassy Review : My husband's interview went great!! I did not attend as I had to stay in the states for work....He was the third in line when he arrived for the immigrant visa. First they asked him for his original documents and who was his petitioner. Then they scanned his fingerprints. Afterwards he sat down and waited for 45 minutes. When it was time for the actually interview he was asked a few simple questions by a nice man: What is the name of your petitioner (wife), How many times has she been to Egypt, Where does she work, Where does she live, How many children we have... Then the consulate officer said, "Congratulations You Are Approved, you will receive a text within two weeks via Aramex when your visa is ready to be picked up" (updated on July 28, 2015) Rating : Very Good
