Consulate Review: Jamaica Review Topic: Event Description Review Date : August 8, 2014 Embassy Review : I got there about 6:45 for my 7:30 appointment. There were 2 lines there but I jointed the shorter one based on reviews I read. They let us in at about 7:00. We went through security and then walked to a big tent were I waited for about 20mins before we were called inside. I went inside and received a number. After being seated inside it look about an half hour before my number was called and then I gave then my medical and passport and did my finger prints. It took 1hour and a half before I was called for the second interview. He asked these questions: How did we meet? How long ago did we meet? Have I ever been outside the country? When was the last time my husband was here? Did I have any pictures to show him today? Are you excited to move to the US? In all it was a great experience . He said 2-4 weeks for me to get back my passport but I hope I get it back before the 2 week mark. I can't wait to see my husband . Rating : Very Good
