We never received the biometric appointment. We had to do an infopass appointment at our local USCIS office. Once there, they scheduled the biometric appointment the same day. And few days later received the biometric appointment in the mail from California Service Center. I guess glitch in the system does happen.
12/20/18: Case was transferred to another USCIS office due to pending N-400 application. Most likely transferred to local USCIS office that will handle Naturalization interview.
06/08/20: Card was picked up by USPS with expected delivery on 06/11/20 Thursday. |

Interview went well. The officer asked me the Civics questions first before reviewing my application. After the interview, I did my oath taking by the same officer. Did not have the formal ceremony because of COVID. There are only few people allowed inside the building. |

We experienced no hassles nor harassment at the port of entry. The only question asked was who are you going to get married to? After that we were sent our way and claimed our luggages and out from the airport. |

we were interviewed today at Seattle local office. arrived early at 1300, appointment time at 1345. checked in at 1330 and went straight to the second floor. waited for just short period. called in at exactly 1345. the interview went well. the interviewing officer was very nice and she did not have specific questions about our case. instead she had us relate how we started while writing down her notes. she had us mention the timeline of events from the beginning of our relationship until now. after she had us narrate our love story, she then proceeded to looking at wedding pictures, vacation pictures, and supporting documents. she was impressed at how we were organized and even thanked us because it made her interview on us easier and quicker. the interview lasted for 20 minutes and we were approved right then. she proceeded on explaining to us the next step of the process. she told us to expect the green card in the mail in the next 2 weeks. she then asked my husband legal questions she is required. over all the interview went very well and very relaxed. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
