Review of the consulate location in Chengdu China:
Typical view of a U.S. Government building "ugly, but cheap" concept applies. The Chinese staff can be half and half, but the same can be said for the American staff and officers for help. Unless your know what your doing or you made a mistake, help and advice is non-existent. Don't expect for anyone to be friendly beyond the business you intend to go there for.
On a personal note, I get the feeling that it's more of a "us vs. them" and if I had to rate the consulate it would have to be some where in the middle on a good day. |
