Thanks to all of the help that I got here I went to my interview well prepared.
we took the train to Montreal from Ottawa the day before and picked up my medical at Medisys.
My visa interview was for 10am and we decided to go for 9am.
It was crazy windy in Montreal today so we traveled all but the last three blocks underground.
We arrived just after 9am and I showed my Loomis and passport. My Husband was with me and he showed his passport to.
We were the only ones in the elevator and when we arrived at the 19th floor there was no one at the podium. In a few minutes she arrived and I was given #11.
I went and sat down on the left side facing the clock. By now it was 9:10. In about 10 minutes I was called to window 1 where I gave in my original birth Certificate, Marriage certificate, police check, passport, pictures, appointment letter.
I went back to my seat and waited. The even numbers were still at #8.
At about 9:45 I was called to window 7 and had my interview. She checked my finger prints and looked at my husbands work letter. She kept the original Aos paperwork and tax forms.
She asked how long we were married and when we were moving. All went well and we chatted about slow computers and cold weather.
by 9:55 at the latest I was back out in the waiting room. Approved
Thanks CdnArmyGrl for keeping us company. Safe travels

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
