Could you please let me know how you receive the notice for the interview?
Arcadoli on 2018-11-14 said:
Hello. I checked online on my USCIS account, and there was a change. So I checked in the document section, and could read the letter. I received the real letter about 3 or 4 days later by mail.
If you want more information let me know.

Thank you! I went to biometrics on Jun13th, so hopefully I will get the updates soon.

Pon on 2018-11-14 said:
Did you receive the notice by Email as well?
Arcadoli on 2018-11-14 said:
No, I did not. I was checking my USCIS account and found out a letter was on his way. You can check your account from time to time so you can see if something changed.
Pon on 2018-11-14 said:
Thank you! I will keep checking the account online!

Hi again! Congratulations on the approval!
I finally got the notice for the interview.
How was the interview? Did you study all the questions for the test?
Arcadoli on 2018-12-06 said:
Hello. Thank you! Good luck for your interview. Yes I knew all the 100 questions. I did my n-400 while my i-751 still pending. Glad my spouse was around because the interview letter never mentionned it would be 2 interviews at the same time! If it is your case, go with your spouse and have some proof (originals of the copies you sent) like joined tax returns, wedding pictures, common bank account stub, etc.

Thank you! I’m applying by myself.
Ok.. I will try to remember all the questions for the test..

When is your oath ceremony? Did they give you the date after you passed the test?
Arcadoli on 2018-12-14 said:
Hello. After I passed the test, the lady gave me a document, stating I passed the test, but no decision could't be made immediately. She explained it is because my I-751 is still pending. That was on December 4. I was checking my USCIS online account everyday. And on December 12th, I read online I was approved!!! For some reason, the case completion time changed from February 2019 to March 2019. But today, December 14th, I received an email saying an action was taken on my case. So I loged in to my online account, and my ceremony is scheduled for January 4th at 8 AM, yayyyyyy !!!!!

Congratulations!!!
Thank you for the information.
Now I know they wouldn’t give you the date at the time of interview.
I’ll have to wait the notice again.
Good luck on the ceremony!
Your journey will end soon!
Arcadoli on 2018-12-15 said:
Yes, very soon :) Good luck to you too!
Pon on 2019-01-05 said:
Congratulations!!! Now your journey is ended.
I passed my civic test yesterday and I am waiting for the notice for the interview. Did you apply at Chicago? Was the ceremony at the same place as the interview?
Were you able to apply for the passport after the ceremony? Do you know how long it would take to get the passport?
Arcadoli on 2019-01-05 said:
Hello and thank you! Congratulations for your test! Yes I applied at Chicago/ The ceremony here in Cleveland happened in the Courthouse (and that is good since I changed my name at the same time). After the ceremony you could apply to vote (that was at the same place). For my passport I'll go tomorrow. From what I know, it could take 2 to 3 weeks to receive it. My husband received his in 2 weeks.

Hope I receive the notice soon.
I wish you all the best for your future!

I hope you will receive it soon too! If you do not have a USCIS account, create one. You can see faster the letter, before you receive it by regular mail :) Thanks a lot :) Good luck!

Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process.
I am still waiting.
Would you be kindly share what questions were asked from you during i-751 interview?
THANK YOU very much
Pon on 2019-01-14 said:
Thank you!! Yes I’m almost finished the process.
I’m sorry but I haven’t heard of I-751, what was it for?
I applied my green card through employee’s support and I have never been to an interview for the green card.
Arcadoli on 2019-01-16 said:
Hello Pon, Hellp Parsi2017,
Pon: I-751 is when you arrive in USA with a visa for fiancé. The first green card you receive is conditional (2 years). Before it ends, you have to file for I-751 to lift the condition and receive a regular 10 years green card.
Parsi: I had my I-751 interview at the same time I had my N-400 civic and English tests. (It was not written on the letter I received for my N-400 tests!!!). They basically asked me what they asked in the forms sent : Who is my spouse, when and how we met, etc. Do I have a job, do I file taxes. They also asked to see proof we are still married : comon bank account, bills, tax return, etc. Pictures also. I had not all that with me since I wasn't aware I would have that interview! But it was enough to show up with my spouse.
Good luck!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
