Event Description

Embassy Review : Hello VJ members,

My wife had her interview on April 13th at 12:00 pm. She went early, because she thought there would be a line. But they said, you only need to get there 15 minutes before to stand in line. Anyway she went through the line, they checked the interview letter, and her bag for contents. She was called for the first interview, where they took her fingerprints. Then they told her to sit down, and wait to be called again for a second interview. They guy at the window for second interview was an American speaking bangla. He looked at the original marriage and birth certificate, and he kept the original police clearance certificate. He also took my 2014 W2. Then he asked her few questions:

1) Who petitioned for you?
2) How did you guys meet?
3) When was the marriage?
4) Why didnt you go on a honeymoon? ( he said that after looking at the pictures. We didnt go on a honeymoon because there was a blockade every other day in Bangladesh in 2014 Dec-January)

Then they kept her passport and said all set, and handed her a yellow paper to create a profile to pick up her visa.

The whole thing only lasted 15 minutes. The CEAC was updated to AP within in minutes, and few hours later, the status said Issued.

Good Luck to Every one ,
BP
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
