Comments : All of the USCIS and the consulate are so friendly and interested in our success as we, the house, l we organize to do so. Just doing our part by reading the websites of the USCIS. Visajourney helps a lot but you need to take care of old posts and misinformation, as there is nothing to fear, everything went perfectly in a great time: three months and a half between post mail to USCIS and interview, even though I received RFE (our mistake and not od USCIS or embassy ). There is no need to stress, anxiety or fear. You do what guides guide certain steps that everything will succeed!
We wish success to all!

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 21, 2014
Embassy Review : The interview was very quiet and fast.
First asked us to separate only the documents requested in email list that was sent from by Consulate to the petitioner.
Then we are asked to pay the fee within the building itself.
Then each beneficiary, accompanied by her fiancé or fiancée is called for interview. Our lasted 12-15 minuitos, a few brief questions, return the original documents filed at first.
Then we are asked to pay the fee for sending the letter with the passaport and fiance visa to the residence of the groom or bride unAmerican. There is no other way to get the passport with the K-1 visa, which arrived quickly by mail in 7 calendar days.

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
