Wife's interview was 17 FEB 16, which she passed. However, her visa was delayed from 17 FEB 2016 until 18 MAY 16 due to USEMB not receiving my wife's Israel police clearance. Had to request another copy from Israel consulate in Manila, which was finally received in late April and forwarded to USEMB. Visa approved 13 MAY, received via 2Go courier 18 May. |

Process was relatively painless, no issues encountered. Had a bit of a wait (maybe one hour) which was rather nerve-wracking, but the Immigration agents were pleasant and business-like. No EAD needed since we arrived on a CR-1 visa. |

Embassy Review : |
All things considered we had mostly positive experiences with the USEMB-Manila, to include both of our children's CRBAs. No bad attitudes or rudeness, no surprises, no games. Remember, they don't make up the rules or the requirements, they just execute the laws set forth by Congress and the State Department. I would have given them a solid 5 stars, except for the Embassy (apparently) lost my wife's Israel police clearance, then just kind of shrugged it off and said "well, we can't issue her visa until we receive her police clearance." In other words, get another one. We did, but it took almost 2 full months. Our interview was 17 FEB 16; the visa was issued 13 MAY 16, and received 18 MAY 16. Other than the police clearance issue everything else went smoothly. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
