Comments : Everything went very smoothly. Had our interview today and was asked a lot of questions about how we met, when we decided to be a couple, where do we live, things like that. The officer switched the direction of the questions from me to my wife and back almost every question. He said he could not tell us yes or no at that moment of the interview but gave us an indication of a positive result. 4 hours after the interview we received email notification that she is approved and the green card is ordered.

Embassy Review : Everything went very smoothly.

For the record there are a few things that might be at least yellow flags in our situation. She came on a student visa but we married, we have a 17 year age difference, and this is my 3rd marriage my last wife was from another country also. No problems we did not practice or prepare for the interview we just answered honestly.

Immigration officer was friendly but obviously had more questions than normal which was OK.

All around we went from filing to approval in about 2 1/2 months. Very good!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
