Embassy Review : |
My fiancee's interview was a breeze. I spoke with her soon after the interview and the whole process took about 1.5 hours from arrival till departure. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred. She arrived with her mother. Her mother kept her cell phone so she did not have to remove it. She had to walk through a metal detector. She received a number for the waiting area and had to wait 45 mins - 1 hour. Once called, and assistant took her paperwork and evidence of continued relationship. Soon after, she was called to the window to have the interview with the consular officer. She had to read a pledge in either Ukrainian, Russian, or English. She chose English. He asked how we met, when I was there last, what is my profession, Have I met her family, and has she met mine. He complimented her on her English speaking skills and told her congratulations on the approved Visa!!! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
