Embassy Review : The interview was easy as long has you have all the required documents such as NSO Birth Certificate, CENOMAR, Affidavit of support (I-134), latest w2 & income tax of fiance (us citizen), proof of relationship & updated NBI.

I arrived at the US embassy exactly 5:30am (sept21), there are 4 lines outside of the embassy for different appointment time. Outside, there're few vendors of umbrella, ballpen & those who will offer to hold your cellphone & other things which are not allowed to bring inside the embassy, which you have to pay for P300.00. (So just dont bring your cellphone & others if you dont have someone with you, who can wait outside).

My schedule is 7:30am,we went straight inside by 7:15am give the appointment letter, DS160 and passport, they put a barcode on my passport & put inside the plastic & gave me a number stub. Went to the door #2, I give my appointment letter again and wait for my number to appear on the screen.

After 30mins they called my number and I gave my papers mentioned above, the lady asked me for few questions; What's your name & date of birth, then how me & my fiance met & how long, where is my point of entry, asked if I have a copy of remittance receipts (but did not asked to see), asked for our pictures, she then scanned the album I gave her. She said to wait for my number to appear again and goodluck.

After 30mins or more, my number appeared again and went to get my biometrics, the american asked for few questions, and said to wait for my number to appear again.

After like 2 1/2 hours or more my number was called again and was asked to read a pledge by the american consul. Asked me like 3 questions about me & my fiance. Then he said there's nothing more to ask and he'll approve my visa and wait for my number to be called again. I said thank you.

My number was called again this time at the "Interview section". Asked if I have interviewed by the consul so I said yes, and asked if they required me for extra documents I said NO. So they said my visa is approved and wait for the delivery.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
