Embassy Review : |
Hello guys,
I want to share experince of K1 visa interview at Mumbai, India.
Appointment was at 8:30 but she went there at 7:30AM and they let her in.
They asked her for her appointment letter and went through security check.
They asked her for DS156K, 134, etc...
During the interview they asked her following questions:
- What does he do?
- Where does he work?
- What is his job title?
- What do you like about him?
- When she said something about my beliefs -- What kind of beliefs?
- What will you do when you go there?
- What kind of food does he like to eat?
- When she said punjabi... is punjabi veg or non veg?
- IL state is very cold... will you be able to live there?
- They asked her to see the engagement album/pics.
Thats about it. The CO was very nice and he said that you are approved.
They did not ask for any other evidence.
She was in the embassy from 7:30AM - 10:45AM.
Hope this will help others who are going through Mumbai.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
