Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 19, 2014
Embassy Review : The whole thing took about 1 hour.
We were first directed to pay at the last window, then we had a brief summary at another window, and then we had the interview at another window.
Everyone and everything was cordial and timely.

The questions asked were: how did you meet, what does your husband do for a living, how long have you been in Germany, when do you want to go to the USA. These were not made in an interrogatory fashion, but just as casual questions at the window.

Very good environment, we were relaxed the whole time.
If you are interviewing there, most likely its going to be ok, so go easy.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Chicago
Event Description
Entry Date : 2014-12-03
Embassy Review : Everything went easily, the whole process was very fast. My wife was entering with a CR-1 immigrant visa, she didn't have to wait much at all.

There was one problem though, they forgot to stamp the passport, which was kind of a hassle when applying for a SSN . We only noticed this many days after.

Anyways, nothing to be scared of, didn't notice any harassment towards anyone.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
