Event Description

Embassy Review : Found out about my interview date two weeks in advance by mailing to the U.S. Consular office in Jerusalem. Even though they claimed mailing package 3 and the appointment letter , I never got them! While being mailing qaedtions to theit mail, the response was coming back in 1-2 biz days what is really appreciated.
The interview day was going smooth, with almost moe waiting time (maximum spent time there was about an hour) until I recieved 221g for a police certificate document which apparently had to be sent directly to the consular office...what wasn't clearly stated on package 3:
"...Israeli citizens or Jerusalem ID holders (laissez passer) may request a police certificate for use in their immigration visa application be sent directly to the Consular Section by applying at their nearest police station."
MAY does not equal MUST .... nevertheless they gave me my passport back and told me to bring it back once they recieve the police certificate and call me....according to them this process suppose to take time up until moth!!!! After 2 weeks they already had my passport back.
The clerk in the front window who collected my passport clearly isn't informed of a delivery cimpany who's supposed to deliver me the passport back. She gave me instructions for filling out a UPS onle formes what was clearly not what I had to do after getting a response to my email. The consular officer simply told me that they will mail me the package via Shaal (the forma of which I filled out during the interview-was not instracted to pay for it or collect an envelop)
Two weeks after my K1 visa is Issued. The status says I should get it with in 10 biz days.....very hopeful

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
