MY K1 Visa Interview Experience.
Interview Date: May 5. 2014:
5:30 AM Arrived at USEM MANILA
7:30 AM queue number given to me, my number is 6257and instructed us to wait to flash our number.
9:30 AM window 43 for finger scanning.
11:00 AM window 52, a Filipina consul ask me to submit the following documents. NSO birth Certificate, NBI Clearance, CENOMAR, Affidavit of Support (original copy), 1040,W2 and Pictures.
Question # 1: Who is your petitioner?
Question # 2: Is your Fiancée have a child?
Question # 3: How about you? Do you have any children?
Question #4: Is your Fiancée divorce?
Me: Answer, yes ma’am.
Consul: Do you have the proof of divorce termination:
Me: yes ma’am and give it to her.
Question # 5: How do you meet your Fiancée?
Me: Blah.. Blah.. Blahhhh…
(Just be true and confident and answer the question with all your heart.)
12:00-1:00 PM LUNCH BREAK
1:30 PM my number 6257 flashed at window 63. This is it! My final interview.
Me: Hi Ma’am, Good afternoon, with a big smile looking at her.
Consul: Hi how are you? Me: I’m good ma’am. And instructed me to raise my right hand and read the oath, after that she instructed me for finger scanning. And then, 1-2 minutes, she is looking to her monitor, I think she is reviewing my documents. Then she said (okay, all your documents is complete and good, PERFECT… You’re approved…)
Me: Really Ma’am? With big smile..
Consul: YES.. You may proceed to other window for releasing of your visa, and she gave me a pamphlet.
Me: Thank you so much ma’am and may God bless you always!!!
Consul: Awww Thank you!!!!
