It was very easy, the officer lady was really nice :) She didn't even look at what's inside the envelope so that was surprising, but it all went so fast and great! |

Embassy Review : |
It was a crowded day at the embassy today, so I could get in after waiting for 2 hours outside. It was raining and I was soooo cold, but fortunately the waiting room was very warm. After getting my number and waiting for almost 45 minutes, my number was shown on the screen.
Behind the glass window on the desk, I saw my documents piled up and the lady behind the desk asked me for my passport. She said I was missing w3 form, and I gave her the reason why I wasn't able to give it to her. And then she asked me for the affidavit of support, which was already in my files, and I told her that. She told me to wait for a bit more and they'll look into the files again.
The second time I got called, another lady took my fingerprints and asked me to wait a bit more.
After 30 more minutes of worrying, I got called again. This time there was an American guy, who was incredibly nice and sweet. He asked me to raise my right hand and swear that I will tell the truth, which I did. Then he asked me about how I met my fiance, and if we planned the wedding, and he asked me if I knew Spanish (in Spanish) as I'd studied there for a few months He was so sweet and nice!! He also asked me why we decided to get married in the US instead of Turkey, and I told him because if we get married here and decide to move to the US, we would have to apply for another visa which takes more time and we would have to be separated through the process even though we'd be married. He said great choice, and told me everything looks perfect and that I'm approved
Good luck to everyone who'll have their interview here! Don't worry, be sure of yourself and your files, and you'll be okay! It felt to me like they're really understand your situation and they are willing to let you in to the US. Such a relief |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
