Event Description
Review Date : February 10, 2014
Embassy Review : My fiancee went through the interview process on January 25, 2014 at the US Embassy in Manila. She said she talked with 3 interviewers and they were all asked easy and simple questions. She said the last interviewer was american. The first two were pretty strict but the last interviewer was pretty nice. She said the whole process took her about 8 hrs..including waiting and all that. The last interviewer asked her if she had any questions... and she asked if she was approved and he said "yes" and he gave her a white piece of paper that says something about being aware of domestic violence as a foreigner. And also told her to wait for the visa to arrive in the mail with her passport. That was it. The questions that were asked were, how much money does your fiance make, whats his name, how old is he and simple stuff like that.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
