Consulate Review: Sydney, Australia Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : January 22, 2016 Embassy Review : It was very simple and easy however I was a nervous wreck! I provided all the docs that was requested on the checklist. Took a ticket and when my number was called I went upto the window. A lady went through my paperwork, and just asked if I have lived in any other countries, ever been arrested etc. she then said to take a seat and I'll be called up for my interview. Again my number was called and I went upto the window (yes you will be interviewed in front of everyone) took my oath fingerprints etc and was asked the following questions: - when did you meet - how many times has he been to Australia - why did we wait a year to file paperwork - what does he do for work And then he said your file is complete. I asked him if I had been approved haha and he said yes you have been approved must marry writhing 90 days etcetc and then came the tears! All in all it was very straightforward! Rating : Very Good
