Event Description
Review Date : January 23, 2014
Embassy Review : My fiancé s interview was on Jan. 20, 2014. His appointment was 8:30. He arrived at 7am but went in at 7:30. He waited on line (long line). Someone checked all of his documents. All paperwork was in order. After he went in he was given a number and waited to be called again. A second person asked for documents and took all of them. He was fingerprinted. He then had to wait to be called a third time. This was the actual interview. He was only asked three questions. 1) How did you meet your fiancé? 2) What does your fiancé do for a living? 3) Did you register for DHL? He knew then he was approved. He stated overall he had a good experience. The consular officer was pleasant. The worst part was the waiting. He felt as long as you have your papers in order you will be fine. He was told he had to wait about two weeks for his visa.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
