Event Description
Review Date : May 18, 2015
Embassy Review : Only the applicant is allowed in, we arrived 30 minutes prior and my husband (the applicant) was let in immediately. He had to surrender his phone and they gave him a coat check # for it. He went through security and he checked in and they gave him a #. He sat and waited to hear his # called over intercom and went to the corresponding window and gave all the documentation that was required in the interview letter. Remember to bring the original letter. He waited in that room for 40 minutes or so and then got called to a different room where the officer questioned him for a good 20 minutes: how we met, when we married, where we work, about my previous relationship, specific timeline information (and they did not want him referring to his documents for answers), after that it was approved and that was that. Took about 1 hour 40 minutes total. We got notice that the passport was ready for pickup within 3 business days.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
