His visa was denied due to my divorce was not legal. Consular stated I had to divorce and remarry.

Update: I moved to Ghana 3/28/2018 with our son to be with my husband. I refiled the I-130 petition at the USCIS office in Accra, Ghana. 11/9/2018. The petition was approved 11/23/2018. We received notice from the DOS my husband need to go online to schedule an interview. Since today, no appointment date available.

Event Description

Embassy Review : Never in my life did I ever imagine me and my husband would still be apart for nearly two years. The same experience my husband had at the embassy in Accra is almost the same others have experienced with trifling consular officer KM. I'm starting to believe what we are going through is some kind of plan by the government. The American government is acting like gangstas. Taking people's money and have them waiting forever knowing damn well they are not going to approve them. If they don't want Ghanaians coming to America they should say so. Stop wasting people's time. How are you going to tell people they dont have a real marriage because they just met. You should have more evidence than that. Me and my husband have a 18 year old son and they still don't believe our marriage is real. Couples need to have a back up plan. If you don't want to live in Ghana find some other place. America is not all that.
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
