Embassy Review : Had my interview today. Although terrified, I made it through the process.
Everything went as I read off the journey site. Still was like walking on death row but another hurdle that one must go through.
I met up with Eric & Chris that were also taking their interview. Thank you so much to both of them for helping take away some of the nervousness. You both were awesome and it was so nice to meet you both.
I was asked many questions;
How did you meet? When did you meet for the 1st time? When did you get married? What does your husband do for a living? Have you traveled to the US since the process started? How often do you see your husband? How has this 2 years in Canada affected your relationship? Answer: We must be ok because we didn't kill each other yet. (She actually laughed) Everything went along quickly. She tossed some more papers and gave me that Golden Ticket and said Welcome to the United States of America. You will receive your passport by courier within 5 days.
Will let you all know when I get my passport in hand to give you a general idea of how long it takes.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
