Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : January 22, 2015
Embassy Review : We were by the security check by 9:00, we had the interview by 9:30,after we passed the security checks for they had two line one for tourists visa and one for immigrant, I was the only one for immigrant so my turn was quick we got inside but the didn't allow my fiancée, and the lady didn't accept her passport either so I had to take it with me and i put it on top of my heavy binder and photos album, I had to wait inside for my turn then a Moroccan guy in the window 6 called me he too medical folder and returned me the xray, I gave him i134 and taxes that's all, he didn't want bank statment or employer, then I was waiting for finger print but they didn't took them because I already had another k1 interview in March 2014, then I waited and waited when I found I was the only one left there, then I heard my name from window 7, I was extremely scared to have the same consular at window 3 that day seemed she had to many apologies that she couldn't grant them the visa, alhamoudilah I had the American guy, the first thing he fingerprinted me, then he started interviewing me:
How did you meet?
Why did you choose to be with American girl?
Why not Moroccan?
Whats her religion?
How did she get into Islam ?
Who proposed? How? When?
Let me see you photos album?
I asked him if he wanted to see more evidence he said they had enough
Then he said your visa is granted come back by Friday to pick it up,
Thank you
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
