Event Description

Embassy Review : 6/04/2015 Interview

Well its really a long journey for me
In line around 4:30am with the 6:30a appointment folks

Got inside 6:45am
In line again for the number
In line again to submit my Appointment letter in Counter 38 inside.
We are asked to go out in the waiting area again.
They called 5-10 per batch of number (its random numbers so if you have lucky charm you better bring it here lol)
Didn't go well with me i was last in the batch to go inside

Step 1 10:45am
1st window Few questions asked like whos my petioner, my name
2nd window Finger print scanning

Step 2 11:00am
Pre Scanning
The filipino consul took my BC, MC, NBI, CeMAR, Medical results
Checked all my files sent by NVC AOS and all. He said everything is Good
Asked a few questions :
Who's my petioner?
How did we met?
Whens the last time i was with my husband?
Then opened my medical results and gave me back additional documents i submit

Step 3 11:10am
Oath Taking
After this we are asked to seat again and wait for our turn for the interview

Lunch Break 12:00pm
We've been asked to leave and go back after an hour

Step 4 2:30pm
Interview
Consul looking through my files then starts questioning
Questions asked
Who's my petitioner?
How did we meet?
Have you ever been outside of your country?
Have you applied for a US visa before?
Reason for deny? (looked at my files then said this application doesnt have anything on your case now *phew*)
Do you have pictures of you and your husband? (Looked at 5 pictures)
When did you guys got married? (she greeted me coz it was our 1st anniversary the other day, so nice!)
Do you have children?

After that
Looks like everythings good. congratulations your Visa is approve please proceed to step 5 (If you could have seen my smile after i heard those words)

Step 5 2:45pm
Releasing
The Filipino guy on this window was so nice (everyone else are not.. IDK why)
Looked at my documents and gave me my NBI personal copy and told me "Maam that will be the last document that you will have here in the PH, thats your remembrance" We dont need anymore documents from you congratulations you may go to Window 68.

Window 68- 2Go 2:55pm
Asked me if i already filled up a form for delivery, i said is the traveldocs information the i filed the same? Then he said yes maam so you're good to go. Just a reminder once your case stated issued on Ceac on the morning you can pick it up in the noon.

Over all my journey to this interview is very long and exhausting. But if i had to do it again i will coz its all worth it! Im gonna be with my husband soon!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
