Embassy Review : |
The interview that was set and we ended up being about 5 minutes late due to road closures that we didn't know about. We arrived to the embassy, went through security, and went inside awaiting our interview. There was a lot of get up, sit down, present this, take that back, until it came time to speak to the ambassador. He first asked my fiance if he knows English and if they conduct the interview in English and my fiance answered with yes I can understand everything and the interview was conducted in English. He first questioned us together, then I sat down and my fiance was questioned and and then together again. We ended up being told "Congratulations you have been approved!" We headed back home and half way on our almost 3 hour drive we received a phone call from the embassy telling us that we are missing one document and that my fiance can not receive his visa until we obtained that document! Talk about being on a high after all the months of waiting and then getting phone call! We had some trouble obtaining that document and waiting another 3 days to go back to embassy to receive the Visa. Other than that glitch we had no problems as for the interview! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
