Very easy process. I attended the interview with my Romanian fiance and there was a mix up with my name being on the entry sheet for the day but it was cleared up fairly quickly and I was allowed in. From the security checkpoint until we left the whole process took about 30 minutes. After clearing security we went to a window where we handed over some of the administrative paperwork and finger prints and said an oath that everything we submitted was true and accurate. Second we went to a window where we handed over the rest of the information, bonifides, financial information, etc, the third window was the interview. The questions that were asked where
How did you meet
If I (the USC) spoke Romanian
The number of times I (the USC) came to visit Romania
What are your wedding plans
After that the woman interviewing us said you were approved. It happened so quickly and without effort that I really was in a little bit of disbelief. We really had way too much information, I had 3 years of tax returns, employment letters, mortgage, bank statements, but they only asked for one years tax transcript and the letter of employment. Our 50 pages of pictures, emails, and texts were barely looked at. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
