Hello, congrats on the fast approval! Did you submit i-130 online or physically? And did you submit a K3 (I-129F) as well or not? Or an expedite? Thanks!

we filed electronically and submitted a K3 10 days after NOA1
No expedite

Congratulations Etrangais! Hopefully you’ll hear from NVC very soon. Quick question, what is the expedite option please, Is that an additional fee people pay to get their i-130 fast tracked?
I’m planning to start my I-130 application online for my wife in Morocco. Do you have to complete all the application and doc uploads in one session , or do they allow you to save and continue the app later on if you’re waiting for a document? Thank you.

Thank you.
There are no fees to pay for an expedite. USCIS specifies criteria to request an expedite (https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/how-to-make-an-expedite-request).
Once you start the application, it is good to have all necessary documents uploaded before paying the fees and submitting the application.
When you hit submit, you can always go back and upload documents as you go or as they are available.
Let me know if you have questions once you get started

Thanks a lot Etrangais. Sorry just saw your answer on here. I'm wrapping up my I-130 and will be submitting very soon. So I'm planning to file for I-129F after couple of weeks or so. All you have to do is attach the NOA1 receipt to the I-129F and send it, correct? no need for supporting docs since I already submitted them with the I-130?
Best of luck for the interview!

How long did it take to receive a notice from Uscis after Fedex or UPs delivered your k3
Amooni on 2022-05-08 said:
Hi @Etrangais! Why did your case take 6.5 months to be completed at NVC? Was there a problem? Trying to figure out how long mine will take once I-130 is approved
Etrangais on 2022-05-08 said:
@Skillz: it took 10 days to receive NOA1 for K3 in the mail.
@Amooni: it took 3 months for DQ and it took 8 weeks to receive interview letter. Everything was done right and within the actual NVC timeline. There was no delay at all. NVC is getting better right now and they are reviewing documents within 10 weeks

@CMRenane: it was good but they asked for additional docs

Hi Etrangais! I am glad the interview went well. What additional docs did they ask for?
Nabiler on 2022-07-12 said:
What service center was the k3 received?
Etrangais on 2022-07-12 said:
@Nabiler: Since I had to send a copy of the NOA1 of the I-130 with the K3 application, it was routed to the same service center: Texas Service Center

Congratulations on your completion of Visa. I know you waited a LONG time for them. I hope everything moves smoothly from here for you.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
