Fast turn around at IV Section - received file 12/15 and sent notice of interview 12/19. interview set 1/21. Embassy obviously is working hard despite holiday. Interview standard. Quick. Ehere we met, where she works, whether I know she had kids, when we would marry, where i live, where i work, whether I had been married, and whether I had kids.

Got I551 Stamp :
Greencard Received: 2015-04-17
Comments : 9/13 received notice that it might take additional 6 months for green card. It also indicated we would probably not need to have an interview, which is nice. Because we applied for and received the EAD and AP the delay in getting the green card is not a hardship. Really encourage people to get the EAD and AP for this reason.

Comments : This took awhile. We needed to go to Chicago twice to get 551 stamps. The first was good for 6 months. At that time the officer thought we would get the lifted conditions and or interview before it expired. However, after not receiving the card in 5 months we made another appointment to extend the 551 stamp another 6 months. 5 days later we received notice that lifting conditions was granted and card would arrive 30 - 60 days.

Event Description
Review Date : January 21, 2014
Embassy Review : Showed up at 6:30. Let in at 6:45. She was second interviewee. Pleasant middle age western woman conducted interview. Begin asking questions in Thai but Nan always responded in English. Soon switched to English questions. 1. Where we meet. 2. Where she works. 3. Does boyfriend know she has kids. 4. When will we marry. Then she said application apprioved!! Nan said woman was nice and made her feel comfortable. Embassy said visa would be received in mail in 1 to 2 weeks. Hope not that long since we already have her plane ticket!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
