Congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this long road. I am still anxiously waiting and would be grateful if you respond to my questions.
- did you go to interview with your spouse?
- what questions were asked in relation to i-751 part of your application.

Hi there, yes my spouse went with me on the day of my interview. When my number was called in, I went in first. The IO was very nice and professional. She went through and reviewed my I-751 application first. She did not ask a lot of questions but more on verifying the documents I sent - like, our joint account, utility bills with both our names on it, the past three years of our joint income taxes, and letters from our friends (supporting our bonafide relationship. Then after that, she did the N-400 applications. Asked me 6 questions and I got it all correct. Finally, she called my spouse to went inside with. She only verified my spouse's SS# and a copy of his driver's license - making sure we have the same address. She congratulates me, and told us that our relationship is legit and bonafide, no red flags the she saw, and she approved both my I-751 and N-400 applications. Im just waiting for the schedule of my oath taking. Are you from chicago too? Goodluck to you!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
