Comments : Expedite granted 10/17/2014! Woohoo!
The interview in Belgrade was very strange, short and unprofessional. They only asked for the pictures but none of the other "required" documents. We received approval right away and our visa was sent through DHL 2 days later.
POE in Seattle went wonderfully! The officer checking us in was so nice and informative.

Comments : We sent in our packet in June but they returned it with a notice that it was too early. I updated it and sent it in again on August 29th.
1/10/17 - We are still waiting for a response from USCIS. The last thing we got was the NOA asking us to come for Biometrics in October. Almost 3 months without word! USCIS website doesn't have any news either.

Comments : The Interview and Oath were completed in Portland, OR, lasting 90 minutes total. I was one of the first people to check-in at 7:30 am and only waited a short time. This was the first pleasant experience in this USCIS process, and the first time something happened sooner than we expected.
We are so happy our son got to be with us for this final chapter, although my wife and son couldn't come in with me. The security check-in was quick, my interview was virtual in an office cubical, my prints and photo were taken and I was happy to learn that my oath was right after my successful interview. The Naturalization papers were in my hands shortly and I was out the door as an American citizen. It's finally done!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
